I’ve just got around to adding some blogs to the website. You are going to want to update your RSS feeds if your not familiar with some of these. Here they are in no particular order:

- David Ker: Lingamish [I’m still not sure what the name means.]
- Clifford Kvidahl: Theological Musings [Another SoCal guy; He’s a student at the Masters College.]
- Kevin Wilson: Blue Cord [Another WordPress blog; I’m really missing out.]

On Lingamish: the sidebar “About Me” reveals that “Originally this blog was called “The Etic of Lingamish” vainly attempting to make a clever reference to the Epic of Gilgamesh.”
Actually, I thought immediately that it WAS a clever reference, etc.
Which probably reveals something about my ongoing efforts to consistently distinguish etic from emic descriptions, without looking at the definitions elsewhere in the book using the terms….
(Well, that plus having over half-a-dozen translations of “Gilgamesh” on my shelves.)

Way to go, Ian, that makes exactly two of us in the known universe that “might” classify “Etic of Lingamish” as a witty reference! Is that the ultimate in Emicology?
