March 2007

I’ve added just now a link to Bruce Fisk’s blog, Crossings. Bruce teaches New Testament out in California and I stumbled across his blog today, liked it, and figured readers here would as well. Enjoy.

I’ve added a link to Jim Darlack’s blog, Old in the New. Have a look.

Today I’ve spent a few minutes deleting dead links and inactive blogs. If I’ve missed one, please let me know.

Happy March. I just added Jim’s interview with James Spinti, bookseller with Eisenbrauns. Spinti’s blog is called Idle musings of a bookseller. It’s a great interview and you’ll learn a lot about James’s background and religious convictions. Read the interview here. We can’t seem to get away from bloggers named James this year, and so next month’s featured blogger will be James Tabor.

Be sure to read the Biblical Studies Carnival XV, in Memory of Bruce Manning Metzger, posted by Charles Halton. There are also other bloggers that we need to add to the ever-increasing list and will get to this week.

I had not noticed, or realized, that Chris Brady’s exceedingly useful Targuman blog wasn’t on our list. So I’ve added it and I want to apologize to Chris for failing to notice this earlier. If you don’t read Chris’s stuff, you really are missing out.

I’ve added a link to the blogroll to a new biblioblog I ran across today, which looks quite promising. New Testament Student is the name of it, so take a look. Its author has a great sense of humor (which never hurts in this ole’ world).
