Biblioblogs

I’ve received so much email that I feel compelled to try again- to spite the spiteful I suppose. The new blog address is

I’ve added a link to the blogroll: Bob Webb. Bob is the executive editor of the Journal for the Study of the Historical Jesus and a grad of the University of Sheffield. Do give Bob a read- he has some interesting things to say (or he wouldn’t be included here in the canonical list). ;-)

Kevin Edgecomb just wrote a nice little post on why he favors the term biblicablog over biblioblog to describe blogs related to biblical studies (some have also suggested biblicoblog). The term has been problematic from the beginning, but biblioblog is the term that became most popular among these types of blogs. Yet, as Kevin points out, more people use the term for book blogs or library blogs, which may cause confusion. Is it time for a change? You can read Kevin’s post here.
